How We Use Our Natural Filters in Our Lives

Natural Filters charcoal water filters are very versatile and can be used in many different ways. As the founder of Natural Filters I would probably be the best person to share the various ways they can be used, which is likely to be many more ways than you had originally thought.

I founded this business before I got married to my lovely wife, so at first I only used my charcoal water filters inside my trusty Klean Kanteen water bottle, which I took everywhere, from my bedside table for that all-important first few gulps of water, to my car on the way to my office and hence throughout the day at my office by work desk for easy access.

Since moving in with my wife and stepkids the household filtered water requirements have risen dramatically. I still keep my trusty water bottle by my bedside but now so does my wife. My stepkids, always the curious ones tasted our water a couple of times during family roadtrips and were immediately hooked, pleading for a change away from the noticeable taste of the heavily chlorinated tap water of Cairns. So I raided my stock cabinet at my office and brought home one of the water jugs, as featured on our flagship starter kit.

The kids loved it so much that they asked for a second jug, since they found themselves drinking it all of the time, with every meal, snack and even in between. I had never seen kids get so excited about water, with their levels of excitement only being surpassed [unfortunately] by Pepsi and Mountain Dew (hopefully they will grow out of it!). They constantly complain about the flavour of the tap water at their friend’s houses as well as their school drinking fountains, which reassures me that I am on the right track.

As for my office after a few forgetful days where I had left my trusty water bottle at home and suffered at the hands of unfiltered tap water, I decided to come up with a solution. So I went to Kmart and picked myself up a water dispenser jug of about 8 litres in capacity. Since each charcoal water filter can absorb the impurities from about 2 litres of tap water at any one time, I worked this out that the water dispenser jug would require about 4 charcoal filters to sit at the bottom, which works like a charm and is always a fun talking point when I have visitors over.

So there you have it, this is how my various uses of Natural Filters bamboo charcoal water filters have evolved over time, throughout the various stages of my life.
